Hiện nay khi gọi NVC sẽ gặp trực tiếp nhân viên của NVC. NVC không sử dụng hệ thống trả lời tự động nữa. Vì vậy muốn biết tin tức của hồ sơ thì người bảo lãnh hoặc người được bảo lãnh phải gọi NVC, họ sẽ hỏi thông tin cá nhân cuả người bảo lãnh và người được bảo lãnh rồi mới trả lời. Đó là lý do ban tư vấn VDT không thể gọi giúp cho các thành viên như trước đây. Khi gọi NVC bạn chú ý.
1. Chỉ có thể gọi vào giờ làm việc từ 7:00 AM đến 12:00 PM (Eastern time) từ thứ hai đến thứ sáu, trừ ngày lễ. Và
2. Khi gọi bạn sẽ gặp trực tiếp nhân viên NVC do đó không thể gọi hỏi thăm tin tức của HS nếu không phải là người bảo lãnh; người được bảo lãnh hay luật sư của hồ sơ.
3. Dùng email để gởi NVC hỏi thăm tin tức. Vào mục Mẫu thư bên cột trái để tìm mẫu thư thích hợp với trường hợp của mình.

Ông xã em đã nộp đủ phí 88$, 404$ và các giấy tờ: civil documents của em ( Ds230, lý lịch tư pháp, giấy kết hôn...) và bộ hồ sơ bảo trợ tài chính của ông xã (I-864, photo thuế,photo bằng quốc tịch, photo passport...). Chồng em đã nộp vào ngày 11/06/2011. Hôm nay em nhận được mail của NVC gửi nhưng em không hiểu rõ nội dung mail yêu cầu gì. Mong anh chị dịch giúp em. Cảm ơn các anh chị!
Dear Sir/Madam:
Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).
Based upon the information received, the NVC is unable to determine the date of birth for the petitioner. Please submit a copy of a government-issued document indicating the date of birth (e.g. valid passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate). The document must include the month, day, and year of birth.
According to U.S. law, the National Visa Center is only permitted to discuss details of a visa case with authorized representatives and when provided with all of the following information:
* NVC case number or USCIS receipt number
* Petitioner's name and date of birth
* Principal Applicant's name and date of birth
* Your full name
If you are corresponding regarding an I-140 employment petition you must provide the following information:
* NVC case number or USCIS receipt number
* Name of the petitioning company
* Principal Applicant's name and date of birth
* Your full name
Please resubmit your inquiry with the required information.
If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by telephone, mail, or email), all submitted fees and documents will expire. If this occurs, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.
